Look Up Idiot :)

The first week of travel is under our belt and we need to add a couple holes to tighten it up a little. The trailer is awesome, if not pretty friggen BIG, if I do say. Well, what ever do you mean Dave, you should be wielding that thing around like its a pop up. Well….not so much. Our home away from home is thirty seven feet long by twelve and a half feet tall and by my reckoning must be twenty seven foot wide, or feels like it when driving down narrow country roads with on-coming logging trailers on one side and squito (that’s mosquito for you northerners) ditches on the other and trees branches so low …..well keep reading. So the reason for this prelude of alternate truths is that we need to buy a new tv antenna. You see the main focus of this adventure is NOT to be holed up in this bad boy watching reruns of my fav, The Big Bang Theory (was M.A.S.H. twenty years ago, but Penny is cuter than Hot Lips, sorry I digress) or some other such show. The focus was and still is to see the country, national parks, meet people, see friends and do some volunteer work. But, as the first children brought up in the golden age of television, some times you just got to kick back and start flipping , especially in the rain. You see in February of 2009 our past President Barak Obama signed the DTV Delay Act, this enables millions of households to receive digital television transmissions for free, as long as you have a digital antenna receiver. Our’s unfortunately is somewhere, I believe, stuck in a tree along a narrow country road or lying in a squito ditch. Well it is now starting to rain. I see a trip to Campers World in our near future.

For Us, It’s Not Abad Day 🙂
