02 Aug Day two of retirement..

Day two of my summer vacation, I mean retirement…or sabbatical depending on who is watching the money. Hedy and I are setting up home here in Milton, Delaware. Very strange to write home and not be referring to Park Ridge. What a difficult thing to do, give up your home of 24 years, where your children grew up. Home base for the family. The memories…it’s hard. Day two and pain is dwindling as our time is consumed by setting up our “house” now. Our little retreat is filling up nicely with our furniture, trinkets and mementos of days gone by. We expect the next two weeks to follow this path as we have A LOT OF STUFF! I’m thankful that our beautiful children, Emma and Sara have been full of encouragement on this journey so far. This journey started 10 years ago as a dream and a year ago as a goal. Here we are, a start of something memorable and beautiful. Stay tuned.. more to come. For us, It’s Not Abad Day.
